I'm also curious about the suspension brand. The collar holding the front coil in place appears quite thin

the bottom bush appears to be Voided in your 1st pic.
Voided means that the bush is not solid.
The Prado's should run a solid bush in the front, as they support all the weight of the front of the car on the lower eye bush.
Is the bush solid, or does it have cutouts in it?

the final result of voided bushes... because of imperfections during moulding the strut can come down and try to "walk" plus on top of that they just can't cope with the entire load...
I made the mistake of replacing the bush and listening to the young fella behind the counter who said the cut outs are fine and will allow a smoother ride.

Jason is there a replacement bush for the 90 front struts ? mine are looking a little crushed?
Can get replacements for most.
What struts are in yours?

So at 374k I'm starting to see the failure of multiple larger components at once...
I also have to admit that when it comes to preventative maintenance... I'm not the best. Repairs yes... but except for regular oil changes I'm not so good.
So here is my To It List which I'm guessing a round one doesn't exist or I wouldve fixed it by now. So I figure you guys can see my list and keep on my back. As yesterday the radiator mysteriously emptied itself and my engine stopped (once it cooled it started again thankfully) And this morning the passenger rear tyre gave a pop and a wheeze but it was only flat on the bottom. De idea to take the opportunity to inspect the rear pads and disc while there... Munted.
So... here is the beginning of my list and will update as you guys stay on my back! I should post my phone number so I get phone calls and texts to fix it.... maybe not haha glen and Scott would probably never leave me alone With threats of taking away my keys till its done!
Two lists...
Repairs
Replace radiator -Have parts
Replace all four tyres.
Replace suspension hopefully with 2" lift
remove dent from passenger D pillar and respray.
remove various small dents
replace weather trim from previous break in attempts
replace headlights ideally from 95 series for future projector modification
replace drivers rear silver trim and then respray silver trim
replace front bumper with new or full bullbar.
Mods that are half completed.
Finish building new design of overhead console with switches and uhf -need switches
finish light bar on roof -have most parts
rewire remote start -have parts
add 3rd antenna to passive keyless entry -have parts
Replace reverse sensor wiring
build bracket for reverse camera to locate centrally
Replace upper tail lights to match lower tail lights and add second high level indicators.
Find time..
Hahahahahahaha yeah right. Lol

hi RanJ
I recently done the high level indicator mod , used bulb holders from the wreckers , the position is also marked on the rear of the cluster, a thicker '0' ring keeps them solid, at the same time I replaced the lower light clusters with LED units from repco they were a perfect fit for height and refitted the reflectors at the end , the LED units also keep the flash at the correct speed after fitting the upper indicator bulbs2018 GXL 2.8 1GD,
