I'm in the process of upgrading the setup on my 150 and the holes in the doors are not on a flat plane i.e the left side of the large hole is more recessed than the right side by about an inch. I'm trying to figure out how I'm going to close it up.
Sound deadener. Close that hole right up.

    • Today I finished the wiring for my halloween prop. Just need to pull the rat of it together to scare the crap out of some people.... here is the setting...

My car is parked out on nature strip corner. I have these stupid multicolour LEDs strips underneath the car doing their flashy thing... cal so playing from underneath is happy halloween music the monster mash... as people approach the car, the music and LEDs stop flashing. Then within 2 seconds a bright red led mounted on the steering column come on and lights up the scarecrow with an evil jack o lantern head sitting in the drivers seat. As this happens, my headlights start flashing rapidly, my roof mount led bar switches on and blinds them as the engine starts with a servo attached to my throttle cable that will pull the throttle cable and rev the engine repeatedly.

Then dial 000 for the heart attack sufferers.

          • Finally got round to fitting the new Dobinsons suspension kit I've had sitting in the shed for a couple of weeks. Wow what a difference. Did have a 2" billy/king spring compo, but was well past its used by date. Ended up with a 45mm lift in the front, 40mm in the rear from what it had. Got the old girl booked in for the upper and lower control arm bushes in the next couple of week's, and with a wheel alinement should be a pleasure to drive again

I found some very thin sticky back aluminium sheet that is quite easy to mold/shape. So I'll use that first and then cover it with a layer of Fatmat.

                      • Decided to fit my window roll up modules today. But then I saw how much of a mess I'll be making of the drivers door harness so I've unwrapped it all and am integrating the new wiring into as well as converting the entire loom in woven split loom. Plus adding more sound deadening to it.

                            • Finally did my fold down rear door table.

Used teflon board I had at home, along with straps and hinges.
Had to get a few stainless bolts and the elastic loop and stay.

                              Went together pretty easily.
