  • Rear End Clunk! Help please!

Hi Guys, I'm fairly new to owning a Prado and just lately I've noticed a clunk when I come to a stop. It almost sounds to me like it could be the diff bushes because it's similar to the typical BA/BF falcon clunk. Has anyone else experienced this? Any suggestions would be great, because I've been underneath and nothing looks really worn out or cracked. Thanks!

    Is it an auto?

If so and all the bushes are in good condition try greasing the tail shaft, see if that makes a difference. Could be the excessive wear in the slip joint.
