    Mav,

    I just wanted to personally say 'thanks' for all your hard work in securing sponsorship for the 2009 PP GTG and also the great news about custom t-shirts for attendees (special mention to Steve61). The sponsorship deal with MaxTrax is great news... I am sure they will make a few sales through Pradopoint.com as a result of their sponsorship and support of this event.

    I am sure that this year's GTG will be a great event due to all your efforts and planning.

    Only a couple of months to go now... and I can hardly wait. :wink:

          Very excited indeed.

          We actually set off from Darwin on 17 June and will be doing the Oodnadatta Track and the Flinders Ranges before returing to Alice Springs for the PP GTG. So it will be a mammoth camping holiday for us - the PP GTG will be the 'pièces de résistance' for us ... and you're right... WE CAN'T WAIT! :wink: 8)

            We plan to camp overnight on the 3rd near the Painted Desert so we may catch up with you and the family.
            Could also be some other PP'ers heading through that way as well?

                David, we went to Redbank last Sunday for a bit of a geckko but it was swarming with tourists. :lol: So we didn't stay long, I thought about going over to Roma but it was already 1 pm so we just headed back to town. We might head out to Roma this coming weekend and have a captain cook at it.

                    and during that time I have to drive to Brissy and back to bring back the new camper. I am leaving on 08 June to drive over and will be back for work on the 15th of June. I have the Prado booked in next Wednesday for its 70,000 km service and on the thursday it is booked in for the Prodigy P3 brake controller to be installed and have the Anderson plug run.

                        Well we went out to check out Roma Gorge today but the weather was not the best so we decided against driving in to the gorge as you have to drive along a river bed and with the weather the way it has been the last couple of days we were a bit reticent to travel along a river bed at the moment. I am sure it would have been okay but I remember saying that last year at Owen Springs. :roll:

                        Anyway it was a nice run out and I did get to speak to the managers at Glen Helen. Everything is on track with them so no problems there.

                        Here are a couple of wintery photos from today, they were taken around the Glen Helen area just a bit further west.
