Speaking of the Camprites, Pomp and the guys who hired them I have a couple of questions.

How do you find the storage in them? I have difficulties in visualising how much space inside when packed up.

How good (Quick) did you get for overnight set up and pack up?

Finally did anyone have someone really tall sleep in one of the single beds? My son is around 6'5" and although he may not be living with us much longer it is still a consideration

Back on Thread topic now, Thanks for all the great pics and experiences guys this has to be my favourite thread at the moment.

Once the rugrats grow up a bit - I'll definitly come along ... Unfortunately, with twins at 2.5 and another at 3 weeks of age - I can't see it happening anytime soon - oh well - here's to hoping it's still happening in a few years time. Just out of interest - how old were the youngest kids there?
I think Hunter was the youngest and he was 20 months old.

Finally arrived home a couple of hours ago, with the odometer reading close to 9000km,s travelled.
It has been a highlight of our lives to have made the GTG and to meet all the wonderful people who before were just a name on a webpage.
A big thank you to Mav and others who helped to make this event a huge success.
Crossing the Simpson was an experience that my family and I will remember forever and to visit the sites of Burke & Wills grave sites and the Dig Tree at Innaminka makes you appreciate both the harshness and beauty of this great big country and the hardships that our early explorers endured.
The Prado purred all the way there and back and nothing fell off or rattled loose so it is a testament to the quality of these cars.
Now comes the fun of getting all the red dust out of the carpets and other places

                      Dobbo and family.

Hi Neil, storage wise we found we had plenty of room, there are 6 cupboards and 2 double draws inside the trailer plus the box section in the middle where we had table and chairs, plus a fridge. There is also a large storage compartment at the front of the camper.
Setup was 10 mins easy, I had the advantage over the hire guys as I've done more setups but by the end of the GTG everyone was on a par. Pack up time is slighty longer depending on what you setup, its not so much the camper, thats easy, its mainly the other camping debris which you would get whatever setup you have.

The single beds measure 2150mm, just over 7 feet.

Glad to see you made it back okay Matthew. We thought about you as we drove through Lithgow on the back way to Windsor last week. We even stopped to take a photo at the top of the range at the lookout there.
