For those newer members with stock standard Prados and limited 4wding experience I thought it would be worthwhile putting up two training videos from a previous border track trip.

The first is in slow motion withn a friendly song to relax you.
The second is the slowest actual pace we will be travelling.
Anyone that starts crying will automatically be put in AJ120's group which departs at 5:30AM each day and does not stop for lunch!

And keep an eye out at about the 1min 8 second on the video for a possible spare part you may be required to have if you dont pack the rear cargo area properly, imagine if he was going fast what would have happened !!! lol............You guys are gunna have fun... Cheers Steve

I believe that particular stretch of the Border Track that Mal "drove it like he stole it" has actually been filled in and graded!

Not to worry, plenty of other parts for people to have fun on.

No spare rear side windows. The usual rule of Gaffa tape applies, although that wild Victorian (Mal) that we all grew to love also showed an innovative side by applying some plastic bag.

I must agree with Craigm, his innovative idea (TraxRax as available on these forums in the for sale section) would have prevented this and for those attending they have the chance of winning some!!!!!! . In addition MaxTrax are throughing in a set of pins as well as the 2 sets of the camo type MaxTrax! If you don't win them or aren't coming then get of your butt and get some from ARB!

Well that's enough prostituting of myself for today, even though they are both great products.

Just to save confusion

Does anyone remember reading the Doctor Suess book Too many Daves? She had 23 sons and named them all Dave?

This years GTG is going to be a bit like that looking at the registrations, If you forget someones name just call them Dave and you have a good chance of getting it correct

Emails have started to go out requesting info, keep an eye out folks as there is likely to be a lot happening in the next month or 2!

Just to let you all know, there is also at least one panelbeater coming too(me). But then a lot of things can be fixed with gaffa tape too! Oh and don't forget the cable ties(zip ties).
