  • Any WA PPers interested in cutting across WA via the dirt, ie Anne Beadell Hwy (Laverton to Coober Pedy) either on the way to the GTG or on the way home?

It's a Prado, isn't it? So of course it's more than capable

I have seen his rig build, I think it is "more than" more than capable. He might like to get some lock nuts fitted to those wheels though, or sleep with one eye open

We're interested in coming but it'll be from the north down the middle from Kununurra. If I was down your way we'd definitely be keen to go with you

LOL, he managed to keep up with me (just) while I was in WA.

It is a great rig and sounds tough with the straight through 3 inch Mantra exhaust. Spent more than a reasonable time eyeing off Brett's setup and working out how to "acquire" his rims while he and the missus slept in the roof top tent. (which is a canvas tent and therefore no fly cover and with all window access inside!!! )

Have a look at the map Whitey1, there's more than one track down (or up) through the middle!

                            • While I am planning mu trip to get to the GTG I am wondering if I need to have a Parks Pass for it? Just trying to figure out if I need one for the Flinders and if I it would be needed for the fun of the GTG. Just wondering that is all.

                              • Hi VK, you wont need a parks pass for any of the activities we have planned. Flinders Ranges park passes can be purchased from roadside registration bays as you enter the park itself, It may be cheaper to do it online before you leave but I am not sure on that.

                                Cheers Andrew
