Yeah, just chuck an old tyre in between the bullbar and the rear bumper and give them a push I say.

Today, I picked up a pair of these bad boys to fit up to the FJ.
I only plan on using them to drag out stuck Prado's in front of me whilst on the GTG....just kidd'n.
As seen in the pic, 3 x mounting points and quite a large surface area.
Quite a bit different to the ones from Outback Ideas that suit the 150series.

      cheers

When its belly on the sand at beachport - recovery points for a snatch will be handy, especially if the tide is moving in...
                That is some serious digging...

Well, we only have one item left to meet the MVRs which is the sand flag.

Just checked the list again and can confirm we are now compliant as far as I am concerned.

Lots of things to get attached to the new 150 before compliance is complete.....

Looking forward to a chance to getting the new girl dirty....

I know how the 120 handled, but the 150 is something different

                          Hi,
Just went thought the MVR list again, just wondering if a bottle of jack Daniels is a suitable substitute for a first aid kit?.
Have now manufactured the worlds crappiest sand flag which consists of a $$9 Kmart fishing rod with the guides removed attached to my roof cage via a piece of pipe which I have expertly sprayed black and added a couple of wing bolts and captive nuts to. Ordered a proper sand flag from 4x4equip online store to attach to the top.
Total cost about $40 including the flag!
On a more serious note where do people store their fire extinguisher? I was thinking of mounting it inside the rear drawer for reasonably easy access. Is there a preferred location?..
                          Cheers
                          Phil

Where ever you put your extiungisher the main thing is it needs to be quick to access, if you want it you want it fast. I have mine on the step inside the rear door which is a popular spot, also making a braket to mount them on the front of the drivers seat is maybe the best spot for quick access. here are a few threads that should help you.

Thanks guys, the spot under drivers seat looks like a very handy spot. We don't need to move the seat at all , so shouldn't be in the way.
Keeps it away from the curious lot sitting in the back too. Other than that, having it mounted on the rear table is kinda handy whilst stopped. Decisions decisions ........
                                Cheers
