You don't need a beast to do this trip! Just cover a few minor things in the minimum vehicle requirements list and you should be good to go. Add a 2" lift and you should be no worries for any of it. It's going to be a great trip

The lift should be going in next week, but for me to feel comfortable driving the prado in any off road condition I want a few more things just to be safe.Comment

We attended the recce at Bendleby Ranges in June and drove all tracks without any dramas except for a minor bit of assistance thanks to AJ120 on Billygoat Ridge, all in a bog stock 120 Prado with a 2" sag LOL. It was awsome to say the least. Even if your vehicle is stock standard like mine was you could probably complete the GTG without too much hassel. I have since put in a 2" lift and got nearly 4". Yep, spread the joy and spread the prizes as much as possible.
