I want to join you all so bad and I would but I think next year will be the one for me as I still have some work to do on the 120 to make it the beast it wants to be.
Looking forward to the pictures though, ps still want to meet up with fellow PPers around adelaide.
You don't need a beast to do this trip! Just cover a few minor things in the minimum vehicle requirements list and you should be good to go. Add a 2" lift and you should be no worries for any of it. It's going to be a great trip
Cheers Andrew

The lift should be going in next week, but for me to feel comfortable driving the prado in any off road condition I want a few more things just to be safe.

We attended the recce at Bendleby Ranges in June and drove all tracks without any dramas except for a minor bit of assistance thanks to AJ120 on Billygoat Ridge, all in a bog stock 120 Prado with a 2" sag LOL. It was awsome to say the least. Even if your vehicle is stock standard like mine was you could probably complete the GTG without too much hassel. I have since put in a 2" lift and got nearly 4". Bendleby, Here we come!

To soon now for me to get the time off work but I guarantee next year I will be there with bells on.
"With Bells On" some one is bound to get a photo of that and post it on here. Anyway bugger you can't make it to the GTG, however there is always something going on around the traps if you want to do a weekend trip somewhere local, you just need to put the word out.
There are heaps of South Aussies on here so organising a trip shouldn't be to hard.

I'm not even going and that is the most sensible thing I've heard in a raffle/ comp. Nothing dampens moral more the one lucky bugger cleaning up, unless of course your that lucky bugger!

Yep, spread the joy and spread the prizes as much as possible. We have already given away 1 Major Prize, the Lightforce lights and the winner (Foxclan) will only be in the running for the Minor prizes at the GTG, but I think he is already over the moon with his win!
Cheers Andrew

So this just goes to show that Foxclan peaked a bit prematurely. All good things come to those who wait.

Cool... a set of MaxTrax would be good or a Transfer Case Guard would do us or...
a set of AJ120 Rock Sliders would be a welcome addition to the rig
