        • Great to read all your comments about your time here in Tasmania. I was great to catch up with familiar faces and also meet new ones.

We have now sent out the last of our thank you cards to all the wonderful sponsors of the GTG.

              • We are camped in Adelaide for a couple of nights at the Sharpe's place. Last night Drew cracked out some nice Tasmanian whiskey, pretty smooth. Oh and we finished off a bottle of Devils Corner Pinot as well.
My head was a little scratchy today.

The manager at 4WD systems reckons there's nothing wrong. Took him a while to get it to crack. The noise is the diff locking back up again. He says that the centre may be slightly off-centre which causes the one side to be noisier than the other but still nothing to worry about according to him.

Uhhhh....I would think that being off-center is kinda of important. For the diff that is....

Sounds like a good story, millions wouldn't believe you but I will

At least if you damage an air locker line you know about it.

                        Cheers Andrew

                        • Found out something I didn't know before yesterday, the trip meter in the 120 only goes to 9999 km and then resets to 0.
What does that mean? It means we've done 10500km since leaving home on the 5th Sept. And we've still got a couple of thousand to go to get home.
Thanks must go to Drew and Tania(mackayvx) for the use of their driveway to do an oil change!
Currently camped up at Point Drummond, north of Coffin Bay and the fly's are really friendly!
                          Back home next week.

                              • After almost 2 month away from home we reached Portland on Saturday and it was time we stopped "turning left" and head for home. Yesterday we parked at Ballarat and today is Bendigo and I have to say we are feeling a tad warm. Shorts out 2 days in a row, wow these legs got white in our extended winter
