With only 80 days to go till the start of the GTG I was wondering how everyone is going with getting themselves ready?
For myself it has been a case of working 6 days a week away from home so not much is getting done to the Prado or camper at all. There has been the behind the scenes food buying when items are on sale and working out the final details for the trip to and from the GTG.
Final decision on tyres is close, a couple of extra electrical items are being installed this weekend, camper coming out of storage to do a couple of things and hopefully get away for a weekend at some stage before we head off.Tasmania 2015 GTG Committee Member 2005 Prado Pilbara, Sovereign Bar, Driver & passenger weathershields, UHF TX3220, Spare wheel spaces, Lifestyle rack, Genuine front & midrow seatcovers, Genuine front & midrow rubber floor mats, ARB 47 litre fridge/freezer, Hilux washer jets, BF Goodridge A/T, Radiator protection plate, Dual battery tray and isolator, ARB 2.5m awning, Rhino heavy duty areo bars, MSA rear wheel bin, MAXTRAX

Been absolutely mental on our end, trying to fit GTG stuff into a full weeks work, Whitey1 building our van and we are also heavily involved with our local Mountain Bike Club. We've had an event each weekend now since mid Feb. Couple of more weeks and we might have time to finally shift some of our belongings into our sea container for storage for the foreseeable future. So Prado has been neglected and I think we are in desperate need of a weekend off....but we only have 56 days until we need to head north....("Don't panic Mr Mannering, don't panic!!")[I]Happy owner of a Dark Red 120 D4D with lots of lovely extra bits.

I'm booking mine in with my local mechanics, with the "we're going away, if this was yours - what would you do?" Heading
I've still got to do: Gearbox & Transfer Case Breathers, Power Outlets on the back of the centre console for chargers, and making up a set of my own mud/stone guards.
Other than packing up the camper, we are pretty sorted.'04 120 Petrol Flinders Red GXL

It appears the sunset cruise on Lake Argyle on the 29th May is a popular cruise. SWMBO was telling me how quite a few had booked this cruise so we also joined it and then the following day it was fully booked out.
Hopefully I can get to the Durack homestead in the morning to have a look around before the cruise gets underway in the afternoon.Tasmania 2015 GTG Committee Member 2005 Prado Pilbara, Sovereign Bar, Driver & passenger weathershields, UHF TX3220, Spare wheel spaces, Lifestyle rack, Genuine front & midrow seatcovers, Genuine front & midrow rubber floor mats, ARB 47 litre fridge/freezer, Hilux washer jets, BF Goodridge A/T, Radiator protection plate, Dual battery tray and isolator, ARB 2.5m awning, Rhino heavy duty areo bars, MSA rear wheel bin, MAXTRAX
