  • I'll have less than 5000 on the clock when I get there. Funny, when I went to the 2012 GTG, I ran my new Prado engine in getting there.

Nice, now you just need to take the next 3 weeks off to fit all that stuff to it.

Have to work unfortunately until 18 May. Stock suspension lasted 80km, stock wheels and tyres lasted 200km. Seat covers fitted today. Saturday/Sunday will see spot lights, CB, second battery and a pile of other electrical bits go in. Monday exhaust, DPF and EGR delete and a few extra KW to move that 2880kg lump.

                • Wow, sort timing it!

Have had a pre-trip inspection done, AC regassed.

This past weekend has been an Oil Change, Air filter, additional outlets added into the rear console.

Packing of trailer and final repacking of Prado to happen over Easter.

Just getting a sat phone and sim organised as well.

Are they the new tyres fitted? If so why not have the writing on the outside?

                          1. Saves cleaning the lettering when out bush.
                          2. If I need to reverse the tyres to even out the wear then the white will be outside.
                          3. In keeping with the general graphite/black/grey theme.

I guess I overlooked it up until now, and presumed that it was just a bad finish on the hinge....

Will attempt to sort out tomorrow.
