Sounds too good to be true but great deal if everything checks out ok. Make sure you do the REVS check.

""Thanks all and if anyone has anything to add with regards to things i should double check on the this type of car?"" yes the sunroof for rust around the front edges of the rubber when the roof is open. The actual glass panel itself not the main roof of the prado [IMG][/IMG] [IMG][/IMG] I know I put this up when ever some one mentions a sunroof in a grande but its a 3k repair if you get Toyota to do it, drive in drive out. Hopefully it doesn't have it for you but I would hate for you to find it after handing over your hard earned $$$. Only reason I mention it is we looked at some grandes before I bought the current one and they all had rust in them. There are plenty of people on here with grande's and no rust or sign of it in the roof. ......Cheers Steve

Thanks heaps for that. For sure to check that.

Have checked with the mechanic that has been doing the services and they say its been done in 10k kms to the day almost for the last 4 years. But we are getting it properly checked before buying thanks.

Thanks, me too. Won't get to see it myself for at least another week. The fun of buying from the middle of no where. Lucky we have good friends, racq and cameras these days. Will be a good test if the new rig on the 2000km return trip lol.

All good and runs like a dream. The service desk chick at the mechanics was a little upset when I picked it up. She knows the car well and was trying to get the money together to buy it when we did. So that bodes well (she was the owners daughter and he services the car and told her to get it). Got 10.89l/100 on the drive home with 100kgs of extra weight in the car due to picking up things while in the big smoke hope it continues to go well (knock on wood).
