    Hey mate,

Your rig sounds exactly like what I wanted. Is all that through a toyota dealership or did you buy the car and then go to ARB. If it was throug a dealer what dealer?

Bought in 03/2012 new from Kalamunda Toyota (Perth), GXL, Metal Storm paid $63k waited for 6 months for delivery and was super happy when I saw her the first time. Nice colour, I think. Put in: ARB Dual Batteries, ARB Tow bar, RedArc Electrical Brakes (hidden in dash), Smart bar (love the design and the lower weight of the plastic bar), Sahara Snorkel, Lightforce HID spotties, VRS Winch with nylon rope, GME two way. I removed third row and have just the 40l Engel in the back. Thinking of a drawer system in the back. I have now 81,000 km done and drove from Perth to Darwin where I am now. Have done a lot of 4WDing and show proudly my scratches. Current project: How to remove moisture from Headlight after we did it again. Water crossing didn't look that deep, but it was.

Was looking at 2nd hand for a while but due to the lack of depreciation and the ability to guarantee that my oil has been changed every 5000kms, I decided to take a serious look at a new vehicle (this is to be a long term purchase). I went and test drove a GXL auto on wednesday to make sure the transmission wasn't laggy - I'm coming from a ZF Auto m135i so figured that I'd rather have a manual than an annoying auto, but was pleasantly surprised.

Went to the toyota dealer today with the other half, and she said within 5 mins "look, we were offered 60k the other day at the dealer in blahblah, I'm sick of visiting these places with him, can you just do 60k and we'll buy one from you?"

salesman walked away and a minute later came back with a nod.

    So I'll pick up a:
    2015 Auto Diesel
    Graphite
    Rubber Mats
    Boot liner
    Full tank

for about $56750 give or take next weekend. Keeping in mind I need to pay duties and taxes once I get it back to canberra, so it will be about $59k-60k. Will edit once I find the exact duties and taxes.

Pretty happy with that. I don't want much more from a dealer, but I should have gone in armed with a little more knowledge. Maybe could have got a cargo cage thrown in.

I'll be getting a bullbar, side bars, tow bar, suspension from a tjm/arb dealer at some point in the next few months. Then will begin to do off road with the mates. Not sure which way to go first though but I'll figure that out later.

Hey guys, just wondering if anyone has purchased the facelift 150 Kakadu recently, and how much they scored it for drive away?

I'm looking to purchase one in December and trying to do as much research as possible!

Yeah the tint price was bad but I wanted it covered by the factory warranty rather than go aftermarket, pain in the arse! I counter-offered $350 to their initial $1k and went from there haha. Oh well, very happy with quality of the job at least.
