About to sign up for a 2016 GXL 2.8 T-D auto, Glacier White, for delivery early July, … what is the best price I can expect in Perth, with what extras & warranty, and which dealer should I buy from?
Should I go through a broker, and if so which one?
Will later be getting ARB to fit bull bar, dual wheel carriers, OME lifts.

Yeah you're so right about the Discovery. Two of my best friends have them and although they are both very competent vehicles, the value for money is just not there and the parts!!!!!!!!!!! You have to pay a fortune for them and the lower spec (sub $100,000) models come very poorly equipped. My mates Disco 4 cost more than my Kakadu and when he bought it new, it did not even have a GPS! I bought a 2016 Prado Kakadu and it comes standard with EVERYTHING (well almost lol). Value for money, standard equipment levels, price of parts and servicing and Australia wide parts and servicing, you can't beat the Prado. Also you can haggle (zillions of Toyota dealers) but only 1 Discovery dealer around where I live (Barbagalos) and they are so up themselves, they don't even return your enquiries. Stick with the Prado, you can't go wrong with Japanese reliability.

So far I am VERY happy with the TJM gear, the bull bar maybe not as "classy" as the ARB bar, but its very very robust, and and its basically half the price of some other bars. Ill start a build thread soon...been busy installing UHF etc..SE Qld: GX 150GD Auto, (Feb'16 build): TJM T15 steel b bar, 9,500lb TORQ winch, TJM s steps, Rhino Pioneer Platform (42102B 1928X1236mm), front recovery points, Wynnum towbar, P3 brake controller, TNN Underbody guards, UHF, TREKtable & LED striplight, Custom Fridge & Drawers, Waeco CFX50, 9inch illuminator 160W LED spots, 40mm lifted Dobinson Suspension (Zordo's), ScanguageII, 30 Sec Wing Awning

Evening buyers,
Brisbane dealer, 2016 GXL Auto (March build) for delivery April. Graphite, front sensors, rubber foot and cargo mats, tint for front windows, towbar & 12mths reg 61.5K driveaway, private use.
I think I had a few hundred more to go but was getting a bit awkward, but pretty stoked as their first offer was 61,990 for a 2016 demo in a wonky colour.
