Ok so as I've mentioned before, there are plenty of v6 GXL's around for $58880 driveaway at the moment. I went down to my local dealer today and he said they'd match that price (they were aware of it) and even agreed to honour it on a new order (not just a stock car).
My question is, as this seems to be the new 'market' price for the V6 GXL, has anyone been able to get a further discount on it by pplayong off between dealers who are offering this price?
Cheers, Sam.

Me and a mate just bought two Manual TD GXL for $58,900ea.
Sorry for delay not being rude just slack. My old rig was stolen from Bexley. Even better than that it was stolen from my driveway. Had a hard time explaining it to the insurance company. The cops had not trouble with it as they have seen it before. My wife heard some noises at night (no not those type of noises  ) like chains and hydraulics. She thought it was a dream so went back to sleep. Now my dog barks at just about anything but even she slept through it.
A week later a neighbour up the street with a V6 07 GXL had his spare tyre smashed off and set of bull bars taken.
My car was found out west completely stripped......i mean completely stripped down to metal. All wiring looms left intact, not cut. My personal belongings were wrapped up in a plastic bag and left in car with rego plates.
Marrer,
In reply to your price query my quote was from Fergusons Toyota/Canterbury Toyota.
Cheers

Sounds like a good rig and a good price. Bugger about the old one getting stolen  What area was it stolen from?
Sold my 2008 Silver GXL 3.0 auto with 30,000K for $55,000 and picked up a 2010 Silver GXL 3.0 auto with full tint, interior and paint protection, cargo, front and rear rubber mats for $58,380 drive away. Very happy with $3,380 change over and how the 120 Prado held its value, hope this one is the same.

G'day all its probably been a couple of years since my last post but i am now trading up from my 2007GXL to a new one. My question is can anybody recommend a Toyo dealer in Perth (or surrounds) that they have had a good experience with. By experience i mean does what they say there going to do and is also willing to do a fair price and trade. My last dealer was a western Sydney dealer and they were as shady as, don't want to get into to much here coz police are investigating. So would be very grateful for a recommendation, do not want to repeat my Sydney experience. Great forum guys nice to see regulars still posting after all these years.

Depends on where abouts in Perth and how far you are prepared to travel, if on the southside, I had good dealings with Mandurah Toyota a few years ago when I lived there and would definatley go back, rang around Perth to find the best deal then called in to Mandurah Toyota to see if they could match it which they did - said they wanted to look after people from down that way and not let them do business with Perth dealers.
G'day all,
I agree, the discussions on ppoint are high quality; and the content is fat!
Many of the new GXL prices mentioned are market leading, and its good to see all in all that your 2-4yr old rigs are still typically holding value well
Duncan, our New Car Manager at Mosman is enjoying the passion of the ppoint members he's dealt with; he's stoked that word of mouth marketing can be positive in the digital landscape. Thanks to everyone who has used ppoint to refer our Mosman dealership - we are truly humbled.

Can recommend City Toyota At Adelaide Terrace , went their on Sat and signed up on a new 150 traded in my 2005 GXL with a price I was very happy with . Its the 3rd car I have brought from them and have nothing but praise for them which does sound strange these days . Dealt with a Nathan Cusack, it was a fleet sale through work but certain they will look after you. As I said have used them 3 times now and have no vested interested just a happy pradopoint member . If you never ask you will never know! Cheers Digger

I second this, ask for Scott Utting if you give them a call I got my 120 there late 2008. A friend of mine who had tried his local dealer (which he got his last Prado off) went down there on my recommendation and was very happy. Six day delivery on a 150 D4d Auto (white) GXL.
I have no affiliation with the dealership apart from being a satistfied customer
