Is $85k good for a new Kakadu diesel with, 6yr 150k factory warranty, full fuel tanks, carpet mats all round, full set of rubber mats inc cargo mat, and headlight protectors?

Have you conidered an Altitude. End of financial year sees most dealers trying to get as many sales as possible. I paid 68,900 for D4D Silver Drive away It has most of the VX features (Sat nav, leather etc) except KDSS and has a sunroof and rear seat video that the VX does not have.2012 Prado Altitude TD4D... Not at all, but its not a big list... Bonnet and headlight protectors and floor mats plus a full tank of diesel.
I was not too concerned as the cost of accessories is inflated by luxury car tax at this price level by 30%. Perhaps a better deal can be had, but I have bought a number of cars from the same guy at Motorama (4X4 X More) and I am comfortable with that price.2012 Prado Altitude TD4D... As an aside, i have bought a number of Genuine toyota accessories since on ebay. There are a coupel of dealers operating on there and the pricing seems to be pretty keen.2012 Prado Altitude TD4D... Just placed an order yesterday for my new GXL, Auto TD in Silver Pearl. $63,990 drive away. I thought it was a fair deal considering they wanted $73,000 when I walked through the door. Anyone had similar in WA recently?
Couple of months wait but i've got 2 other cars to move before it gets here. Anyone chasing a TD KZJ95???

Wondering what GX's are going for? There were a couple of prices in this thread, but a fair while back. RRP is $65,300 (Auto, metallic, drive away in VIC). Initial price given to me by dealer without haggling is 59k.
From what I've seen after reading this whole thread, a conservative figure seems to be around 15% off RRP for GXL's.. Is it optimistic to expect a GX then for around $55k?

My BIL was pricing a GX - the best price was $53500 for a TD Auto driveaway in Vic.
That is for a 5 seater.
GXL could be had for about $5k more.

Don't be surprised if Toyota call you up closer to delivery and try to put the price up... Contract or not. They suck you in with the good price, get your deposit and then hit you with it shortly before delivery. They hope that you will go ahead with the sale and the new price so you don't have to wait 4 months for another order!Originally posted by mascorella View Post
