I currently own a 2010 black TD GXL auto. I have a price for a 2012 white demo GXL man TD with 10kms for $56,500 drive away or a brand new Nov 2012 plate silver GXL TD auto for $61,000 drive away. Going with the auto for the laziness.

Had a 2006 GXL, liked it so much bought a 2008 GXL. Liked the 150 so I bought a black 2010 GXL. Liked them even more and bought 12/2012 GXL. Must like Prado -

Reason 1 - The black 2010 had just under 57,000km so was coming to be out of warranty and capped price servicing.
Reason 2 - this is my fourth Prado and the last one was black. Own a black prado and you know. Any dark coulr for that matter. This is my third silver prado and all have been traded in at around 50,000 to 60,000km. Apart from the very first one all three others and a black SR5 dual cab hilux have been from the same dealer and they know me fairly well.
Reason 3 - you all own prado 150's so you should all know why I keep upgrading to the same car.

Quick thanks to everyone that have provided their prices as it made it much easier negotiating a price for my new prado. Drove away today in a new GXL. Details below to help other thinking of buying

G'day - no not a demo. Brand new. I had the same issue with Sydney dealers. I was at Gosford visiting my brother and dropped in to the Nth Gosford dealer. Great service and great price so we did the deal.Jaysea

Anyone have a good current drive away price on a Prado. (prefer auto & 2013 build model)
Want a towbar, anything else extra like 'x years' free servicing, mats etc is a bonus

We are keen on leather seats thinking they may be more kid friendly (food spills, wet & sandy bottoms etc) ... but heard that there are neoprene seat covers or similar that can do the job?Comment
