Has anybody noticed a huge drop off in ads for brand new and demo Prados in Victoria on Carsales.com.au? Last week, as of Friday there where over 140 advertised. Even new Altitudes ads where around 12 or so. As of today there is less than 10 ads across the range. Is Toyota prepping for a new end of fin sales campaign? Other states don't seem to effected - weird.

All I ask is that if anyone pm's me and I give you the details, if you get good pricing off him, don't use him against other dealers and be decent enough to give him the business. My enquiry for the price I got was for a purchase of three altitudes, price was for car only, and was on a lease but I am sure he will look after private buyers too. Group together people to get better buying power. I am returning to the forum after a long absence. Just sold my much loved 120 Series 2004 V6 GXL with 230k on it, a great car but wanted to upgrade... So now I have jumped into my first brand new car, that being a 2013 GXL D4D Prado.... cant get over the huge improvement on fuel consumption in the diesel, saving me about $40 a week I have estimated! Very happy, love the Bluetooth and handsfree phone... only a week old and already done 850k's lol! Originally we went out looking at second hand ones, was shocked to see 2010 models selling with 100000k on it for around $49-50k, found a couple cheaper for $46-$48k with a bit more k's... but when I saw the brand new ones were $60990 drive away... I started looking closer. Managed to find a dealer that had some coming in before end of June, what colour, blue I said..done! Ended up getting the D4D for $59990 with genuine towbar, full tank of fuel and floor mats! Very happy with that deal! Now to add some more goodies as I can afford them lol!Comment
