I paid 88k for mine, before trade in and including summit bullbar and driving lights, I tried going with a car broker and they couldnt match the change over price. Due to the large trade in price the local dealer did for us.
Ended up being around the 63 mark change over

Just have word that the batch of prados ordered from my dealer are due for production in may so that pushes the time frame out a touch

We were in with local dealer today looking at a new VX, quoting 3-4 month lead time. Advised a tech update is coming through for cars built in May onwards but he had zero info on what that included or if there would be a price change.

Ordered in late Feb, portal has started showing VIN no and Engine no along with expected delivery date as 3rd June.

@Wizzbang VX and Kakadu has 18 inches wheel not 19. GX and GXL got 17inches

My dealer had very little information on the update other than to say that from July 2021 the VX and Kakadu would come with 19” alloy rims and that they expect a price increase.

I ordered a VX in Feb/March and received a call from the dealer saying its arrived and ready for collection on Monday. It has the 18in rims. He said the new model (only change is the rims - 19in) will be for cars post July.

I ordered a VX late April with an estimated delivery of October.. Hopefully the VX doesn’t come with 19” wheels, especially since they probably replaced with 17”.. talked to me dealer and they stated the only formal advise from Toyota was Re the GLX and cross traffic alert and price rise of $1200. Had no indication of price rise for VX or Kakadu

I have registered to comment on the 19" wheels issue. I recently ordered a Kakadu, the timing so far is as follows (I don't have a Toyota tracking portal logon):

07 Apr: Ordered
13 Apr: Email from Toyota confirming order
28 Apr: Email from Toyota saying we're next in line to be built
28 Apr: SMS from dealer saying the ETA is 5 July
22 May: Email from Toyota saying build has commenced.

That's a long time to be "next in line" before the build starts, but if the ETA holds that's a little under three months, which is pretty good at present. I ordered from a dealer from a major regional centre who sells a lot of Prados, and got 10.5% off the drive-away price listed on the Toyota website. They're some distance away, which makes communicating with them harder, but the discount wasn't to be sneezed at.

I was spooked by the 19" wheels thing, I really don't want them, and TBH I'd prefer 17", although I can live with 18". So I contacted my dealer today and asked whether this was correct, and if so was our vehicle affected? The answer was Yes and No, as we ordered before the update was released. (I don't know what "released" means if the website still says 18".)

Just recieved dealer confirmation that our vx will be arriving to the dealer on the 29th plus minus 5 days.
