Picked mine up today. 18" wheels, as the dealer promised. So that was a few days under three months from go to whoa.

I am in NZ, ordered 2021 vx limited(same spec as kakadu but swaps rear locker to lsd) early February, been told will arrive NZ at 16 of July

If you look at my timeline in post 48, Rov's email sounds like the one I got on 28 Apr. I suspect that Rov's order is not quite as advanced as he/she thinks it is. That said, if you read back over the posts in this thread over the past week or so, there's a lot of variation in times between order and build and delivery, and thus a lot of luck.

Note also that in the six stage process that seems to be implied by the emails from Toyota, the emails for steps #4 & #5 don't arrive. You go from #3 "the build has started" straight to step #6 "it's nearly at your dealer". Once the build actually starts it seems to be 5-6 weeks to delivery.

Looks like I am moving along a similar timeframe to Gunda still so thinking I need to be planning for this pre-xmas

I ordered in 3rd week February, I hope to take delivery 3rd week August. Can't believe anything those Toyota marketing e mails say, I got up to Stage 3 (entered production), then the next one I got went back to Stage 1
Mine is a white GXL with "upholstery upgrade" , nothing too difficult. But it's what I expected when I ordered it, I added 6 weeks to what the Dealer estimated. Toyota and their parts suppliers may have caught up on the backlog, you may be lucky.

Not been told about any increase, I have a written contracted price, though I haven't read the fine print. Will see if I have a nasty surprise in a few weeks.

Dealer estimated 4-8mths at time of order, so will wait and see.

For me they knew a price rise of $900 - $1400 was coming so this was allowed for. It will be interesting to look at the fine print if this was not know at the time of ordering along with longer than estimated wait

Ordered GXL white 11 June, ETA October. Toyota advised in production, dealer can't confirm. Waiting eagerly for my first Toyota.

Bazza sounds like we have ordered the same car at about the same time and are getting similar notices - will be interesting to see how it plays out.

Ordered a white prado gxl at 4 pm 30 June.
Dealer estimated delivery to be November.
Just got a call from dealer saying it will be here 1st week of August to my surprise.
Confirmed it includes new features or blind spot and rear cross traffic alert.
Toyota must have ramped up production or someone's cancelled orders...who know. Only a 1 month wait and now have to get busy cleaning up our 2015 Pajero to sell.
