Removing my lovells as we speak, been the worst suspension I've ever had the misfortune of buying. Harsh as hell ride unless you keep hundreds of kilos in the vehicle.Originally posted by Romer View PostI placed an order in. 10th Nov 2021 for VX, Red Wildfire. Was notified last week that it will be in production in July and should receive it late August or early September, will have Lovells gvm upgrade done, pre registration

i believe all/most GVM upgrades use constant load springs and not progressiveOriginally posted by Piggy View Post

you would really need to have lots of extra kilos for GVM upgrade otherwise it will be very harsh.
you need to have bullbar+winch+battery+rear drawers etc fully loaded with gear and people close to upgraded GVM mass to make it feel normal.
if you done GVM upgrade and dont have any accessories it will be harsh
so Lowells suspension might not be an issue

This vehicle will be setup for caravan towing, so will be carrying plenty of weight, have another vehicle for other usage.Originally posted by Piggy View Post

Your back will thank you. I rarely drove mine it was so harsh. Other major issue I had was they had to replace the springs 3 times in a year as they sagged massively. I cannot recommend their stuff anymore. ARB BP51 has ten times better ride quality I found.Originally posted by Romer View Post

I have GVM upgrades on multiple vehicles. Trust me, the Lovells was the worst of them all. ARB BP51 on a Prado, rides like a dream compared to my lovells equipped one, even with no accessories. KING shocks on a 200 series, even better again. Lovells is really not fantastic stuff, but they have some good marketing hype. Like offering fake GCM upgrades.Originally posted by marcian View Post

Hi CroesPort,
Have you received any updates on your order?
On 22/06/2022 - I received the following from the dealership: "...We hear from Toyota tomorrow (23rd) with an update. Ill contact you tomorrow afternoon...."
And it is 04/07/2022 today - and I'm still waiting for "tomorrow afternoon"......

Funny?.....Nope.... - saga continues....Last edited by CrowsPort; 05-07-2022, 12:30 PM.

This is the update I got today : "it is now sitting in August production but not yet confirmed. Most VX with the standard tailgate are currently averaging around 10 months"
