This is the update I got today : "it is now sitting in August production but not yet confirmed. Most VX with the standard tailgate are currently averaging around 10 months"

Wow!!!
Finally, something definite….
Sounds promising now….
That means August plus another 2 mounts to get it delivered….
I’m itching to say: Start planning holidays now…. But, probably will hold on till they confirm the build date!
Anyway – overall good news, “Prado_66”!

Hi all, new here! If helpful, I ordered a 2022 Prado GXL (standard white) in Feb 2022 and have been confirmed delivery for next week
Not sure how they got it so quick but probably had to do with the white colour and standard config (seats etc)

I saw in the below article that the 2023 prado would have some minor updates such as a face lift update from the 2022 prado Toyota is planning to start production of the 2023 model in August, Just wondering if our orders for the 2022 prado will be updated to the 2023 prado if production for our orders commences after August.

I called the dealership I purchased through in Brisbane late last week chasing up how our order for the VX standard tailgate Graphite is coming along. Apparently we are 10th in line with that dealer for that exact spec and they are receiving 1-2 a month so anywhere from 6-10 months from now by the sound of it. We ordered in late May. I suspect closer to 10 but keeping fingers crossed.

FINALLY!!!
I got SMS earlier today from the dealership saying I’ll be contacted by phone later.
WOW!!!
They kept me anxious…..very anxious for TWO hours…..only……...................ONLY to say over the phone – that there are NO updates on my Prado yet….and even – NO idea how long it will be like that….
And it is ALREADY – 9 mounts since I paid my deposit…..
How long!!!

Ordered our new Prado yesterday here in France…. I fear the new Land Cruiser won’t be available in Europe, so went for the good ol 150 2.8 d4d. Delivery april/mai 2023.
