2008 Model D4D Susceptibility to fuel quality
Hi All,
I am thinking about buying a 2008 D4D Prado. Having read up on the posts concerning injector problems, my current understanding is 1) From 2006 engine injection system was re-designed to engineer out the injector problem and 2) the engines are really designed for running on EU grade diesels.
Question: How susceptible is the 2008 D4D to fuel quality? My specifics are that I am newly arrived in Malaysia where the diesel quality is poor - really poor, and the Prado is a special import model with limited avenues to service. i.e Toyota Malaysia wont touch them or L-200's.
