Is this a fairly new item?
Anyone use it with the ARB compressor?
    Is the gauge accurate?

They've been around for nearly two years, and yes, I have one that I use on an ARB compressor. I've not checked for accuracy but it seems to be good.
i find it a very useful tool as I can air up (or down) and check pressures very quickly. The pressure reading only shows when you release the lever - while filling it shows 0.

Seen plenty of guys using them, Dodgy Dave had one that was reading 6psi low, ARB replaced it for him. Personally I just prefer my standard clip on air chuck, I can wander around whilst reinflating without the need to stay squatted down to hold the trigger.

I have the same one as well purchased with the ARB compressor. I have had no issues to date but as for accuracy I cant be sure. I also have the ARB deflator and this is possibly 2 to 3 PSI out. Not sure as all I have to go by is the BP I fuel at and the gauge are different. I don't have much faith in either but the BP has the style you set on the upright and beeps at you once pressure is reached so should be fairly accurate.

If the ARB deflator is inaccurate possibly the inflator is the same.

Sorry a little side tracked above

I use one and an ARB deflator and found mine both read the same. I've never compared that to the servo ones though. Might give it a go this weekend. Just FYI though, I got mine for less than that from ARB about 2 months ago. Pretty sure I only paid $50 for it at coopers plains though that may have just been a special at the time.

I'd be curious to know if the servo's have their gauges calibrated. At least we would have something to check our gear against.

I've often wondered the same thing as I use the local BP for my airbags. I'm not too confident on the accuracy below 10psi on my gauge and its a pain to roll out the airline for about 1.25 seconds that is required to air-up the firestones!

That said, if the BP gauge is out then at least im consistantly out and isnt consistancy important!?!?
              Cheers

It scares me more than a bit that you are using a compressor to put air in the bags. I use a bicycle pump and it is only 10 or so pumps to get the polyairs to 16pissies. My local servo is at least 5pissies out. I bought decent gauges and have one in each vehicle. I checked one a few years ago with a calibration rig and it was fine but since then who knows, bounced over corrugations and sand tracks...

I only ever use a compressor, not an issue at all.

I run a BP, we don't calibrate however whenever we buy a new air dispenser it come with a certificate showing its accuracy. The ones we buy are normally within 1-2 psi @ 20 psi @ 21 deg c. I check it against my Arb deflator which is generally spot on

The simple answer is probably not, used one at the gtg recently and it was out by 5-7psi compared to my stand alone gauge, like Andrew said earlier the chuck is the way to go. Jut clip it on and time it for the first tyre an the rest will be a similar amount of time to get you close. Check with a gauge and move on. The beauty of these is you don't have to hold it, it just clips on.
                      Cheers

Thats why I was referring to our BP not our local servo. I find the hand held gauges at local (and other) servos get bashed around but the free standing kit at BP cant manhandled as much.

I have the ARB tyre inflator + pressure gauge + chuck, and would not be without it. I have also installed an air/water separator onto mine to keep moisture out of whatever I am inflating.
