Derek11 what sort of timeframe are the valve cap batteries lasting in yours?? It may sound like a stupid question, but if they need to be changed like every month that would end up giving me the sh@ts.

Gee it's a big jump in price when you go to 6 sensors. It would be cheaper to get 2 of the 4 sensor models and wack sensors on both spares!
I've been thinking of one of these, recently I got a flat on the track between Mt Dare and Dalhousie. Sadly it took me a few minutes to realise, by which time the tyre was kaput.
I have the dig options in car system which has this application as well, $199 for the kit. I might go this way, since I hate cluttering up the dash and windscreen with stuff.

Picked up a 6 sensor kit for $450 from ebay
Thought that was a good price for 6 sensors

Has anyone had any problems with standard valve stems with these? I have been advised that you should get metal valve stems due to the weight of these little critters...Stephen Bloomer

Smak I ran Tyredogs on the 120 with rubber stems for 100,000 km or more with no problems. I also have the new set up on rubber stems but as these are larger sensors than the Tyredogs I will be keeping an eye out for marking on the rim which would suggest the stem is bending too much. So far 10,000 km and mo issues but I will change to steel stems when the Pirellis need changing. Not worth the cost of 5 strip and fits in my opinion. My 150 build - http://www.pradopoint.com/showthread.php?27423-A-Random-approach-to-a-Bluestorm-150-GXL-D4D-automatic

OK, I received my Tyredod TD1400A-X TPMS unit yesterday that I purchased through Ebay. These are the real deal and is the overseas model which is made by JOSN in Taiwan and distributed globally and repackaged to suit the Country.
Mine was shipped from Singapore and the instruction manual was in Chinese.
I sent an email to the ebay seller requesting an English version of the operators manual as mentioned on the items for sale page and what I got in return was a Youtube link of a video of a guy scrolling through 80% an English manual version pdf on a PC (funny but dodgy). So I sent an email to JOSN.tw and after confirming the serial number of my unit, they sent me the proper pdf of the operator manual which I am happy about. I paid $199 USD with free shipping which on the day turned out to be $220.00. I did note however that the reseller has a website outside of ebay and they were selling it there for AUD $209 with free shipping. Shipping time took 12 days from order and was a cinch to setup and (hopefully) will work well.2004 V6 Grande. BLACK -
