Honda EU20I deal.

Hello all,

I am buying a Honda EU20I generator (after much research and using my neighbours) within the next 2-3 weeks and this is the cheapest deal I could find http://www.generatorplace.com.au/

It is cheaper again if you buy 2 and no doubt so on. If anyone in the Darwin area or so on is looking at buying one please let me know.

Horses for courses but we were looking at a generator for our caravan and was going to purchase a yamaha or honda but ended up just getting a blackridge one from supercheap. Yeh it's not a name brand type thingy but if you wait for there specials you can pick one up for just over $600 for a 1700w invertor. Picked ours up on one of there 25% off sales for $630 i seem to remember.

It peaks at 1950w so is almost as good as the name brand ones.

It's good enough to run our vans hot water system, our Aircon and heater in the Van and everything i have tried on it. It's only slightly noisier and heavier than the yam or honda but for 2 1/2 times less money I figure it could blow up 3 times before I spent the same money. Up to 49hrs and hasn't missed a beat since we got it. My 2c worth.

I have been wanting a Honda genny for a while. I have never seen them this cheap. I will be using it for business, so even though theres cheaper to be had, I can't take the risk of being let down.

My main points was noise level, fuel consumption, ease of use and warranty. Honda ticks these boxes. As I said I'm sure we could do a group buy and post to different locations. I spoke to the state manager a few months ago in WA and he was pretty good. I will find out tomorrow.

The deal expired in Jan for the extra stuff and doesn't include shipping and no mention of what warranty they offer.

This is the deal they run at most 4x4 and outdoors style shows. You even get a little fold up cart to lug it around the rest of the stalls!

I think I would stay away from the generators they have some of their other stuff might be worth a punt.

If they will do the $1650 per unit deal and deliver to different locations I'm definitely up for one. I'm in Sydney Town so I would be happy to pick up from one of their stores if that helps.

Ok I rang the head office and we can do a group buy. Minimum order is 2.

The cost of the 2kva generator will be $1600 free delivery to Capital cities. It maybe more at other areas and will need to call first to confirm.
See the website on the first post to see what the generator comes with.
The generator has a 4yr manufacturer warranty and the 5th year the generator would have to go to the generator place, see the following link to see where they are located:

Sorry mate,

Been having some work issues and currently working N-shifts. Just rang the 1800 number for the generator place. The deal is good to go. I edited my last post (see quote) to reflect that the offer is valid until the 31st May 2014. So all you need to do is call the 1800 number on their website, buy a generator and you can either get it posted or pick from one of their stores.

Just brought mine over the phone and will get it Mon week. They even except American express but 2% surcharge applies (just means more points for me).
