Tin175 is TNN Engineering. He makes the actuator guard you are asking about.
As for the Bushskinz guards, they fit on my V6 auto 150 Series Kakadu in case anyone is wondering. I have the sump guard fitted to mine but have not fitted the transmission guard yet. There is a specific set for the petrol and diesel variants.Last edited by fido666; 10-08-2016, 02:25 PM.

It's 4mm, very strong. Since the improvement with the centre support about 3-4 years ago mine has been well used.
It's till easy to remove & refit. Including customers vehicles, never had an issue.
Working on Prados only, we have seen most other brands have issues being bent, they're only 2-3mm & no centre support. This not only looks untidy, they are very difficult to remove & refit.
The other bonus of the Bushskinz it is electroplated, so not paint that gets scratched & goes rusty.
The transmission gaurd IMO you don't need it. I have done some decent tracks in prados & never experienced or seen anyone get damage near the auto. It is a few inches higher that the chassis. You would need to be a really bad driver to do damage, so if that's you, get a plate or it. I don't have one, never had, never will. Trans is
More reasons I don't like the plate covering the auto:
The in pan is designed to help cool the fluid. The plate stops most of the air flow which used to come off the front sump gaurd to the pan. Slots would have helped with this.
When you turn full lock, mud or sand get thrown onto the plate, it packs between the pan & plate, creating a lot of heat. Not what you need when playing in the sand. Slots would have helped with this.
These plates are very heavy, the added sand, even more weight you carrying & not necessary.
Slots would have helped with this.
This is a recording.........
If I had an actuator on the transfer case I'd be looking at the actuator gaurd made by tnn engineering. It bolts to the chassis rather than the weak hair line cracking, piss poor week casting of the transfer case.
Hardcore 4byers need a fuel tank gaurd long before a transmission gaurd.
Tough trucks, but mud = $$$ look after it, respect it & it will look after you.
Def need a front one, the stock plate has actually worn through on the front leading edge. Combination of abrading rock and rust... (I just realised how bad that sounds)

Do you know what model prados this suits, and if it suits V6 ?
Thanks
Sorry.

Not the BushSkinz plates, and not the one made by Tin175 (unless Tin175 is TNN Engineering ??).

Normally $379ish delivered.
So you are looking at about $300ish delivered.

My pleasure. Yep well tested!
They do wear through.
You will love your Bushskinz 120 sump gaurd as much as you love the Prado.
They work perfectly with an Arb Bullbar.
Also added radiator/condenser protection if you have alloy sovereign bar.
Either way it sweet as! I only recommend good shit. Well IMO, lol......Last edited by Anth120playdo; 10-08-2016, 07:47 PM.
