We are heading from Adelaide to Darwin then a friend in a 79 is joining us for the trip across the gulf to Cairns then spending 9-10 days to the tip and back to Cairns before heading down the East coast and back to Adelaide. We should have our new 200 by then.
We'll be leaving Cairns on 6th July and back on 16th July.
Happy to meet up along the way if anyone is interested.

This will open a can of worms but this is our first trip so I am trying to make a list of 'must see's/do's' so any advice would be appreciated.

I dont think that the cape has had as much rain as the Cairns to Mackay region but I am sure you will have the time of your life. They probably only have had a normal wet so far.
Take plenty of pics and post them on PP so everyone can see what a wonderful place the Cape really is.
