The three or four cast Toyota 17" wheels that have been weighed are all around the 20kg mark if I recall correctly. Unless a wheel is forged it isn't going to vary much and none of the Toyota wheels are forged that I know of. The weights for some wheels are listed in the database.

R-2 cannot say precisely but use this:

To compare sizes. What you suggest is a bit bigger than 265/70 17 and a bit smaller than 285/70 17. The extra offset out will be the issue and these may run on the guards.

I didn't like the old FJ rims but the new ones really suit the 150. If someone offered me 8 I would jump at it. For the right price of course!

To meet the 30mm track increase in Finland, then you can only go to +15 offset. +12 is 36mm increase in track.

Rules about modifying rims and tires in Finland:

1) ''The rims exchange as a result of a car each axle track width may change up to 30 mm compared to the original''

2) Modification inspection must be done by traffic authority if:

a) The rim diameter differs from the original more than 26 mm

b) Tire width differs from the original more than 30 mm

3. The tire's outer diameter must not be increased by more than 51 mm and width of more than 102 mm from the original.

R-2 what are you rules about modifying track in Finland? Here it is typically maximum +25 -0 though there are variations which allow +50.

If it was only those 3 choices, then +12 is the one you want. Just that it is too much increase in track to be legal. The other 2 offsets is not advisable. The factory rims is also fine for 265/70R17.

Need some help here.. I thought of getting Ballistic Jester wheels to my 120 Prado. Wheel size would be 17x9" and tires maybe 265/70 r17. Does anyone know, what would be the right choice for the ET (offset options for that wheel is +12, 0 or -12)??

One of this Forum member had those same wheels on his prado, and they looked really nice..but I don't know the offset..
