Silly me for thinking so narrow minded
I guess the answer could have been 16, 17 or even 18.

Anyhow all in all I'm getting used to the new site like most people it would seem.
And it is a good thing with more features and capabilities.
I think I'm gonna have to get my fingers moving faster to get my member status up there.
I barely made it into the Senior group.

Well it certainly has a different feel about it. First thing I noticed was all the extra features - I think it will be far superior in the long run.

And I wouldn't worry AJ, plenty of people on here to help you out!

I'm happy with the new site, unlike Glen but my concern is that the moderation is now upon one person (http://www.pradopoint.com/showgroups.php). With the depth of the forum I would like to see the moderator reinstatement put up as one of the higher priority itmes in rectifying the site as it is pretty usable despite a few niggling issues which I bleieve will be resolved over time.

BTW, Well done to Aaron for the migration and attending to the issues that have been raised so far. Great work.

Overall, very happy with the new site - and still trying to figure out all the new features we have access too!!!
In the long run, I feel we'll all have something that will be able to expand in ways the old site could never do...

I dread to think what the registrations look like at the moment with out all the golbal and approval moderators at the moment...

So I have a photo loaded trip report ready to go in notepad right now but the forum will only allow me to post 4 pictures in one post... How does one go about posting trip reports with the new forum? I saw the question asked before but I don't know if there's been a solution as the search function isn't playing nice.

                      Cheers

I've posted 71 times in the past, but now when I click on the show posts all I get is one post I put up since I logged onto the new forum. How do I see the others? And what was wrong with the old forum? Seems I'll have to waste a lot of time rebuilding the settings etc to be back to where it was!

Whitey it is to do with the search engine on the new forum. I suspect that all of the threads imported from the old are not searchable until someone has posted into those threads in the new forum. Once a new post has been made then the entire thread will be searchable and your posts that exist in that thread will show up when you attempt to look at them through the search mechanism. Give Aaron time and hopefully he will be able to rectify this issue but your posts are not lost.

I don't think its quite that simple Nick, several threads that i have posted in prior to the upgrade have been active since the upgrade. I can still only view my posts since the upgrade. Hopefully Aaron will sort it out.

                              Cheers Andrew
