I've just noticed the spell check in the corner of quick reply,, thought this is a good idea except can't seem to get it to work!
Richo.
It's just an empty button by default, have you downloaded the spell check application? Works for me. I went; "Go Advanced" > "Spell Check"> up came a new window "Download spell check add on, Yes/No" (or something like that) then just follow the directions.

that one caught me out. all the pages i searched on google told me it was a it was a "small meadow". tried that and other combos without luck but gave up and came back to get an easier question on GXL rim size!
think the new layout is fantastic. just needs the avatar's back and the add's will disapear into the background of prado pictures!
The random question got me on the password update, i thought it meant the usual password hint that we use, not a question that we have to answer and yes Prado in Spanish means Meadow.

If you us Firefox you can download Firefox adblock plus. Simple, just follow your nose. Then there is a tab to each ad which lets u block them. Did about six or seven, and no more ads!

Mine automatically checks spelling. Did on the old sight to. If I spell something wrong it underlines it in red and I just right click on it and choose the correct spelling.

Glad to see most of you are working it out. There will always be some that prefer the previous incarnation.
vBulletin is very mature as a forum. The CMS and Blog features are new but most of you are spending your time in the forum anyway.
The old site was plagued by spammers and kept a number of mods busy just with deleting new junk memberships.
vBulletin gives us stability and security as well as better performance.
A note on advertising. It's what keeps the forum online. If everyone blocks ads and no-one clicks then the hosting doesn't get paid for. There is quite a bit of traffic generated and someone has to pay for it.
We are looking into ways to make this more beneficial with sponsors, preferred suppliers etc. News to come on this soon.
I've reset countless email addresses as members hadn;t kept them current. If you need to change it, don't re-register. Just use the contact form to send a request.
