I've been one of those members lurking in the background since 2007 when I first tossed around the idea of upgrading from the trusted Surf to the, then new, D4-D Prado. After much agonising I decided to soldier on with the Surf for a few more years. A change of scenery and job, as well as another 100k on the Surf and a few years older and wiser, saw me hike it down to the local Toyota dealer and place an order for a brand spanker.
Well when it arrived I couldn't believe it, it was love at first drive. But the decision wasn't easy and it was only because of this site that I finally bit the bullet and decided on the upgrade. I couldn't be happier and as the buildup progresses will be sharing photos, stories and utilising this brilliant site to help me make decisions on choosing equipment.
At present it has an ARB winch bar fitted, cargo barrier and a 3" exhaust from Manta Pro in Perth. The list of goodies grows by the day and I look forward to sinking my teeth into it. So this is just a message to say G'day to all from a long time lurker and to say thanks for the valuable information on this site in helping me make the decision to upgrade.
Cheers,
Chris.
