I think the FJ is brilliant, except for the fuel capacity of just 72 litres. Even with a 70 litre aux tank fitted, it's still a little short on capacity compared to the 150 and way short of the old 120. Probably wouldn't be as much of an issue if there was a diesel option."Sure it’s quiet, for a diesel, but that’s like being well-behaved… for a murderer."- Jeremy Clarkson

There is a new Aux tank for the FJ C."Don't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia" (Charles Schultz)
I have a 2007 FJ Cruiser (An American knock-off 120) Considerably built up.

I can check. It's from Long Range Automotive in Melbourne. You can call 9739 5667, but my cell phone is a US phone and the call would be quite high."Don't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia" (Charles Schultz)

PS: I got to drive an FJ Cruiser here and it's just the same as the US version. Bloody good truck."Don't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia" (Charles Schultz)

It's awesome !
You guys with the Prado's are just rationalising the cost of spending more, but face it, the FJ looks more rugged, once you trick em up a bit they are unreal ! I am an ex 120 prado owner also. I have the ARB Long Ranger tank and it is a 90L aux tank taking total fuel capacity to 162L. Avg fuel consumption has been 13.5L/100km. Have a look at the pic...

I like the look of them modded I have no doubt it's great off road and ultimately it's a Toyota right. BUT having three kids and the fact they can't see out the back windows the back windows don't even open I can see my kids getting car sick and vomiting down the doors. Each have there place (prado/fj) both are hard to get so their selling well. I went the prado because I wanted a comfy seven seater that the kids are home in watching Dvd's and very comfy on long trips and I can take it off road. A lifted Kakadu with grippy tyres in crawl mode up a rutted hill will stick with your FJ don't worry about that. I'd like a modded FJ for me and Prado for the wife but essentially the prado does cover all bases well.2010 Kakadu with all the usual stuff.... Build up thread below
