Blue lights vs clear lights

When I bought my IPF's the sales guy said blue covers on a white prado look good but work bad. He offered to loan me his set sitting his garage and then swore I would be back to buy the clears inside a week.

I bought a set of blue IPF Covers i just wanted a cover that I didn't need to pull over and remove when I use my lights. I decided on blue because I liked the look of them (after seeing them on a few rigs on pp). When i paid for them the guy at arb said they'd be good on the beach at night cutting through any sea spray and that they would cut down the glare on road signs on the highway.

Don't know about on the beach yet, but on the highway it does cut the glare on signs and as for the distance, I reckon it's taken a bit off the overall distance but nothing too bad.
