Powerlines WA not what to do. **Warning -Flesh wound shown**

Went 4wding last weekend to the power lines just out of Perth. Was a great afternoon.



Anyway here is a pic on what not to do. this guy was 4wding along a rut that had a bank along the side, he went to pull his side mirror in when the car slid into the bank and as you can see in the pic his arm got caught betwwen the bank and car.. To his credit, we bandaged him up and he kept 4wding just as hard.

You have to admire someone who's first instinct is to grab a camera! Could have been worse I suppose, good on him to keep going.

That's it for me, I am guilty of doing similar things to protect the bodywork and after seeing this photo, I think I'll keep my bodyparts inside the vehicle, unless I can get a better shot with the camera :roll:

Yowza - that's pretty nasty looking.

Sounds like he's a pretty lucky bloke - to have someone nearby who could patch him up - and to still have use of his arm.

OUCH! :shock:

Had a bloke working underground with me a few years ago and he stuck his arm out when he slid towards the wall (attempting to stop the LV) and he kinda broke it rather badly. I suppose its a bit of a reaction thing.

I bet that graze woulda been hurting pretty bad for the next couple of weeks.
