There is a problem with the direct transfer system. Just send me your credit card number, date of birth, password, mothers maiden name and it should get to you ok.

all to common these days - a year or two aga without going to specifics I recieved a phonecall suppositvely from my bank, and asked if i could comfirm a few things withem, I basically told them to get stuffed and hung up as quickly as i could then sure enough phonr rang again. same situation.

Out of caution I contact my folks who were over east at teh time an dsaid to them call your bank just in case. so they did sure enough over $6K of illeigitimate transactions had occurred on thier credit card. 7 months later we finally proved that it was illegal and we were given a credit - note you are responsible for any fraudulent use of your card, and the bank will only give credit once its proved otherwise !

They are pretty much onto it these days, as the withdrawals and purchases are usually in overseas locations. We had a similar situation and the bank contacted us and straight up said that out credit card had been cancelled as someone attempted to use it in China. It was all news to us. The transaction was declined and the bank sent us a new credit card out immediately, luckily we didn't loose anything.

Had the same thing with me, credit card was used in the UK to purchase a flight, bank cancelled the card immediately and contacted us to say they were issuing us with a new one... Problem solved...
