Trying to get away as much as we can with the 2003 GLX 120 Series Prado towing the Jayco Expanda or 5.3 Stacer Seamaster/Merc 90HP.
The Prado build up is in process
""Only just learnt the difference between 65's and 70's recently, or they would already be on!"" ???? Except the rolling diameter what's the big difference ???..... Cheers Steve
Around 13mm extra ground clearance on a new set of tyres is the diff between 65's and 70's. Well worth considering.

Hi All, just a qucik note to say hi and express my excitement at now joining the Prado owner fraternity I did my research, on this site thanks, and now the proud owner of a very well looked after 2005 VX V6 auto. Thanks again and I look forward to contributing and take advice from you all.
Welcome aboard, sounds like you have big plans for your new truck and it's the perfect vehicle to get you to those remote fishing spots. There is quite a contingency from WA so your in good company and you might even join them for a trip or two?
I am based in Perth WA and have been driving 4WDs for over 40 years.
Just purchased a new Prado GXL Diesel Auto with bull bar, tow bar, all weather mats, 6 year toyota warranty and UV tinted windows (mothers day gift).
Now have to sell the old chariot.
Looking forward to participating in this forum.
Will fit inbuilt GPS, UHF, Spot lights (LED), roof bars, awning, dual battery and a winch (maybe).
Most of its use will be city/county driving with regular fishing and camping trips into remote areas.

Hi mjrandom, You're right about the wishlist (add kaymar spare tyre mount and LED worklight) thanks i'll check out those threads. Not really worried about the tyres/speedo - keeps me off the speed gun radar without even trying! - certainly the first vehicle I've owned that's done it.
