Hi all, Dave here.I am admin for our public forum and Technical Officer for the Pajero 4wd Club of Victoria and thought I would join up on your wonderful forum.
Certainly not her to stir the pot as I know the Prado is a fine vehicle.
More into GPS and trips which I am sure we all enjoy regardless of vehicle choice.
Oh yeah I don't drive a Pajero...I have its little brother a Challenger!

Hi all...

My name is Oscar. Im from The Hills District of Sydney.

Im not new to a Prado, I got my P's back in 1998 in my old mans then new 1998 Prado GXL.
Now that I've moved on and started my own family, I thought that its the only way to go. We just bought our 120 series, and we pick it up in 3 days

But I am most definatly new to the whole 4WDing scene. I do want to do some off roading with our new rig & Im sure I'll get plenty of help/direction from my fellow members on this forum.

Been snooping around for a while, thought I had better introduce myself!!!

Model: GXL
Year: 2003
Colour: Black
Accessories:
- Window tint
- reverse parking camera/sensor
- heaps of recovery gear

- GME -forgot the model - the one with the remote face

The following being installed on Tuesday:

- lift with better quality springs/shocks (still researching)

Pretty new to the site, I am going to send some pics in to rig buildups, I will shoot out and take some photo's now and try to figure out how to post them. From your reply I'm unsure if you want photo's of the worklight and awning or whole vehicle.

Hello from Brisbane,

I have been looking around the forum for the past few weeks and I am glad that I bought a Prado as this forum is priceless in it's feedback and recommendations. We purchased a 2008 dark-grey Prado on the last day of 2008 and as I had to go to Bundaberg for business in early January, we thought to take it up there and check out the Burrum Coast National Park. As we didn't have any recovery kit with us (yeah I know, bought some since) and my tyres at 40PSI, we got a bit worried after 6km into the Park but the Prado pulled us through perfectly.

We will be doing more and more 4WD around Brisbane but as I cut my achilles tendon over the weekend and have to leave the driving to the wife for the next eight weeks :cry: , I'll be visiting the forum more to make up for it
