G'day all from Mount Eliza Vic.
My name is Thierry, married with my gorgeous wife Sandy, three kids (youngest is 3 months :-)
We bought our Prado Grande 2003 around 4 years ago and we just purchased a new Trak Shak camper trailer at the Caulfield camping show.
In the early days we did some extensive travel into our trusty 1976 FJ 40 (witch is now our oldest son car)
Our Prado is Silver, Diesel, 160.000 kms and still going strong, for a few more kms hopefully.
It is time now to get it ready for some long range travel and introduce the little one (Aimelie) to the Great Australian Outdoor (after being a very reliable work car, except for a bend sunroof frame)
      On the list we have....
      Bullbar with winch & Lights
      New tyres
      Cargo barrier
Storage systems (have to remove the third row of seats)
      UHF and (HF later)
      Snorkel
      Dual Batteries
Electric brakes (The trailer comes with electric brakes)
      And the list goes on
We have a bit of time to get it ready since the trailer wont be delivered until early to late August.
Any advices on accessories are more them welcome and we will be looking at the secondhand market for some of them.
Looking forward to learn from this fantastic forum and the extensive knowledge of all the members.
      Cheers Thierry

                Thank You Damo.

I should update the old website.

Its been about 5 years since I even looked at it and I think I have some more reports to post up.
                Prob is finding the time.
i'd rather be driving than writing if you know what I mean.

                                Hi everyone,

We got our Prado 2 years ago but i only found this forum during the week. We have 2 girls that needed a more comfortable ride than the 60 series which served us well for 10 years of which we lived on the Pitlands for 3 years. I'm certainly not complaining about the better ride either I look forward to catching up with PP'ers out and about.
