G'Day All,

I have been checking this site out for about a year and a half now and finally got around to joining!( p.s. a real credit to the people that run this show!)

I bought a new Diesel GXL, D4D, Auto, Dark Grey Prado in February this year

Just come back from two weeks in Darwin, where i borrowed the parents in law 2006 Diesel Prado, Manual that they are using to tow a caravan around Australia, was a great trip and drove the Rig about 1800Km from Darwin to kakadu, Katherine, Litchfield and back to Darwin! Bit of difference between the new Auto Diesel and the older Diesel Manual!

Any Prado is a pleasure to drive though!

Hope to add more to the site over the near future!

Hi Everyone.

I ordered an August Spec Prado GLX D4d 6 Speed on the 19th of June and cannot wait until we get it. Been looking at this site for at least six months and really appreciate everyone's advice and assistance.

Taking off around Oz in November for six months with my wife and three boys 10, 6 & 3.

Cannot find better advice anywhere else on the web and often you guys seem to know more than the Toyota staff. How many of them know about Hilux Washer Jets?

I've gotta say though that I still find it amazing that this site makes me want to spend another $15,000 on my yet to be born baby to make it even better!

It is really an everyday car with the capacity to go off road, not too out there, but return without damage. Next trip up the Strez and Birdsville. Across the Simpson another year.

Thanks for the welcome. We have been reading about the national meet up just up the road from us. I myself will have to decline the offer to attend as I am currently writing to the forum from the lovely Pilbra region in WA where I work in the mines. However my wife (Lacey) has already been thinking about attending, maybe as a day trip only at this stage as she may be working that weekend. I am really bummed that I will not be able to attend as when I found out about it I was set to go until my wife pointed to the dates (bugger this work thing getting in the way of my personal life, oh well goto pay for a new Prado somehow).
So maybe Lacey will be there. I hope so.

G'Day everyone.

Have been lurking around the forum for a couple of months since deciding to buy an "06 GLX V6, so I thought it was time to introduce myself.
I live in Esperance on the south coast of WA, where we have miles and miles of uncrowded beaches. Will try and post some pic's of the Prado on location when I figure out how to.

"Dune", I have always liked that as a colour & it was my initial choice, just thought the seat colour was a bit impractical for my use. (But looks great)

Hello people. We have an 04 diesel GXL with a few mods that never seem to be completed....... :roll: Anyway, have seen a sweet looking white prado around for a while and always admired it till the other day I pulled up behind it and saw pradopoint.com sticker. Checked out the site and well, here I am. We're in Mandurah, WA.
