Hi Guy's
Picked up my white 2012 GX (40k's), yesterday. It went straight to the shop for Dueller 697's an HR tow bar and some tint. Awning, draws etc. will be fitted now she's home. I plan on more touring but I haven't decided what other kit I'll get. Guess that's why I'm here but overall I'm WRAPPED!
Geoff....A good friend will bail you out of gaol, a true friend will be sitting beside you saying, "wasn't that a blast" ...
White (sorry Glacier White) 2013, 150 D4D GX + the bits that will no longer fit in this space.

Welcome to the beginning of the end. I suggest you stop spending on the missus now. Some don't realise straight away that such frivolous spending eats into the ability to properly equip your rig until its too late. Better to not buy a ring as opposed to trying to ebay it at a later time for 1/10th of the value paid.Originally posted by LongHorn View PostHi Guy's

Hope the advice helps, there are no government funded organisations that assist in the dilemma you will soon face.Bitumen: A blatant waste of taxpayers money!

Thanks MLC, I actually noticed that problem with my last rig......must be why I'm divorced!
It was unintentional I swear :/...A good friend will bail you out of gaol, a true friend will be sitting beside you saying, "wasn't that a blast" ...

Hi Prado Members
Just got my first Prado last week, a 90 series with a 1KZ-TE engine. It's done 180K but still in very good nick. Stock standard, no mods so i'm looking to bust my pockets over the next few weeks. My first projects would be bars, roof rack. Looking for seconds if anyone hears of any..
I'm new to Aussie land too, so looking to catch up on any groups outings - if theres any coming up soon.
Cheers. CJ

Hi all.
I recently purchased a 2014 GXL diesel in Graphite, my first 4wd in about 15 years. My last off-roader was a early eighties Patrol diesel wagon, and before that a series III Landrover that I converted to run a P76 V8 & Borg Warner 40 auto trans. Early days were spent in Series II Landrovers with 186 conversions, an FJ45 & an International Scout
I must say I'm enjoying the comfort & smoothness of the new style 4wd's, a far cry from the kidney shaking I remember.
So far the only extra's are tint & towbar, however I'm sure the bank account is going to decrease over the next few years, especially if I keep reading the build threads.
I'm looking forward to getting back into some out of the way places again (after I re-learn how to drive using the modern technology).Aug 14 150 GXL D4D Auto. BFG KO2's. Hi flow muffler. 7mm EGR restrictor plate.Bushman fridge.

Cheers. My days of trying to compete with a mountain goat, or wading waist deep through a mud hole after getting bogged just because it's there, have long gone. At this stage I'll just be doing weekend trips to country areas, so the next bits will be a bullbar & seat covers. I'll see what else is needed asI go along. Over the next couple of years I want to end up with a comfortable cruiser with enough bits to get out of trouble if things turn sour, then I"ll be looking to do a few major trips as I head toward retirement.Originally posted by Turbo Piston View PostWelcome aboard!
