Holy Crap Boomslang. That sounds a bit too good to be true and you know what they say........... But if the warranty checks out and can be done here in Aussie, it would be hard to go past this offer. I havn't heard of this brand but I know a friend who got a cheaper brand a way back and pulled it appart in an ARB workshop and all the internals where exactly the same as the Warn. Not saying this is the case here but some times cheaper can be better!!!

They certainly sound alright and the warranty sounds fantastic. Here is the link, looks like they have outlets in most areas.

Looks like a Canadian company so should be pretty good.

Well SWMBO convinced me to buy one. Free delivery as a show special. Now I'll have to muster some friends to help with the install. Time will tell and then I'll have to go out every weekend to make sure I get my money back.

One of my mates got one of these Runwa winches (12000lb cable) and have been using that for a while without any issues. As per previous threads its drawing up hell of a lot. But if you have a Deep cycle battery and a dual battery set-up this ain't a bad winch at all.

I believe the 9500lb and the 12000lb are the same winches just with different gearbaxes. I've never had a winch before so my feedback may be irrelevant as I have nothing to compare it with.

i dont know much about these either, but reading above its interesting seeing the draw under load is about the same between warn and superwinch but superwinch draws less under same load.

any comments about that from the "learned few" plz

ps, is superwinch the one toyota fits as i have been told?

Hoping to buy a winch with the money I get back from mr tax man. Has anyone owned a Runva winch or heard first hand any feedback on them? My gut feeling is to go with a tjm winch to match the bar but I am considering alternatives.

                      Cheers Matt

I got a runva 9500 winch and can't fault it, last year in May it was alot quicker than some warns and tigherz winches that was with us and it has a larger motor than other 9500 winches, a good thing to winch out of slop, value in my book Chewbacca.

                        Cheers Derek

Have you had a look at this thread

                          http://www.pradopoint.com/showthread...ighlight=winch

Looks like Marc (1coolbanana) did quite a bit of research on winches, and the Runva was one of his options.

The 11 XP is on sale at the moment for $650 with rope, cable and wireless controllers, and a free pulley. I got one. Just finished bolting it on today. Had some issues finding a good place for the clutch lever on the ARB bar but its on now. Haven't wired it up or used it yet but the reviews seem pretty good.

Get it up and running Tiny and rest assured we will have you trying it out on one of our outings lol.

Seems such a good deal considering the warranty. By the time I buy a rope and a pulley it wouldn't cost much more to by the whole winch.
