i have an "old" waeco 40 lt fridge that never had the handles fitted to it that most of the fridges today seem to have. it hasnt been a problem as it lives in the car most of the time and comes out rarely.
but now i have drawers and a fridge slide and it would be so easy to fit something like the ironman straps to hold it in place to the slide if the fridge simply had handles. so is there a way to fit waeco, aftermarket or any other handles to it so straps could wrap around them?
btw it has a fridge cover which has a chrome ring in each corner which i presume is to tie it down. in the worst case i will use these, but i would have thought they would not last too long in a stressful situation as i thought they would simply bend open?? i have tried straps etc crossed over the top from 1 end to the other but as the fridge is narrower than the slide it isnt the best way, plus you have to remove them every time you want to open the fridge.
so anyone fitted any handles to their fridge or have any other ideas, photos etc of theirs ??? thanx....
