  • low life scumb

Well, it happened to me for the first time, some pr**ck stole a car that I was using, it was an old white hilux. 2 cars was stolen from my street the night before last both 4x4's. Just by chance it was the first night ever that I put the prado in the garage. One car has been found burnt out at Whalen Reserve but no sign of the lux. To make thing worse it was a mates car that I borrowed.
low life scumb. I don't like my chances of finding it but fingers crossed.

    David

There is nothing lower than that. All the best with what ever now happens. Must have been hard to tell your mate. Hope you are still good mates after this.

Shit David that is no good. I am only a couple of streets from you so I better get that garage cleaned out to get the Prado in.

Whalan... there's your problem mate. Nothing but scum around those areas. People laugh at me when I have to drive around there with baseball bats clipped in behind the sideskirts on my STI.

All the best though. Chances of finding it are slim though.

Shame about the Lux, but lucky it wasn't the Prado.

On another note, I can't understand why people that have garages don't park their car in them. The only foreseeable reason would be is if it didn't physically, and no, not just because it is full of junk.

Apparently since the M7 opened a few years ago break and enter and stolen vehicle rates rose because of the easier access/get away from the Druitt etc. Not implying all residents are like that but I am sure you get my drift.

Thanks everyone, don't think we will be lucky to get it back in one piece.

I agree about garages, my problem is the prado just bearly fits in, and never thought it would happen to me, I guess I was wrong. The prado will now live in it from now on.

Yes it is a rough area, one of my mates is a firemen and is posted out there, and in the last 2 weeks, they have had 15 house fires all deliberate, and generally 1 burnout car per day.

Not cool at all. I live out that way and am part of the NSW Rural Fire Service and we regualr get calls out to stolen cars in the bush. Just last week it was a 90 series on gas and an acetylene bottle next to it for a bit of help. By the time we get to them they are just a shell - amazing what is left (or not left) after a fire really.

Neigbour's house got hit yesterday. Poor buggers. Still wondering why it wasn't us, much easier to get into. I am a big fan of old fashioned law, steal and they chop off your hand, steal again and they chop off your other hand, simple really and third time offenses are extremely rare.

I agree, our laws are too soft, they get a slap on the wrist and let go again
