Owned 2 LJ78 models in the past and have a 90 series Prado 4 door now. Hauls my gear, my family and all of the construction stuff I need. Pulls a trailer and has plenty of power (1KZ-TE). Just under the length where it starts getting expensive to ride ferries out to other islands and it's a big, safe vehicle for the roads here, both on and off. Not much more to tell; there simply is no alternative to a Prado for me.

fell into mine by good fortune . wanted a 100 series , changed my mind , was going to buy a hilux sr5 dualcab . the old man had a 120 grande, i said to him one day if he ever decided to sell it let me know . a month later he upgraded to a later model , so i bought it for the trade in price . it still surprises me every time i take it out what it will do and how well it does it in style and comfort . whatever i bought it was ALWAYS going to be a toyota .03 grande v6 , with added stuff that makes it go places . RTFM people !
