Comments from the wife tonight inspired me to start the thread...

Me: I think its time to organise another 4wd trip.
Wife: Is that before or after you clean it from the last trip?

Me: What do you mean? you've cleaned it already?
Wife: We need to talk above this 4wding and leaving me with a muddy car inside that stinks. You need to get Mud Mats.

Me: Yeah! You want me to get the one's I showed you on Ebay?
Wife: I don't give a Sh$t if you use plastic bags, I just don't want wet stink'n car mats!!.

After years of brooding over 'wasted' money and effort on the truck, the wife finally submits to a trip in the outback.

We're cruising on the Birdsville track at 90-100kph and the Prado is riding like a limo over the ruts thanks to Mr Bilstein. We just spent a glorious night camped at Mungeranie after a good meal at the Pub.

Wife: This is the best car you have ever bought!
Me: ! (silence), I'm not sayin' nuffin'

yeah you might want to re-define the thread topic or there may be some " confusion " about what may or may not be posted on this particular topic . im thinking this could be the grounds for separation and thereby "loss of prado" if some of the comments that "could " be posted here accidently make it to the " im gonna have your're asss court . whoops just joking of course cheers

Me: it's a snorkel so you can drive through water with less risk of damaging the engine.

Wife: we'd better get one then so we can drive through deeper water.

while in Tassie we camped up near a water fall. after dark we decided to take a walk up to to have a look at some glow worms near the waterfall.

Wife; Ohh the water fall is still running at night
Me; I laughed alot
Wife; I think its a terrible waste of water
Me; I continued laughting

Girlfriend: I'm angry at you, you waste money buying clothes when we are trying to pay off the mortgage as soon as possible.
Me: They are work shirts and the first ones I have bought in 3 years.

Me two weeks later: So you bought some new shoes (2 pair) and some dresses and some etc etc). Those shoes will look good next to the Imelda Marcos collection you have and I'm sure they are tax dedcutible against the mortgage.

Girlfriend to drive in bottle shop operater: Do you know what TED's are?
Operator: $45 a carton lady

Apparently she was taken back that the operator of a liquor outlet knew the acronym for a type of beer.....
