  • Low Profile Phone Aerial - Any Good for 4WD?

Has anyone anyone any experience with using an RFI "low profile" phone aerial for improving phone reception?

Mainly see them on newer upmarket cars, but I've never seen one on a 4WD, so it makes me wonder..

I don't have a bullbar, and I'm looking for a discreet aerial attachment method. Not keen on drilling a hole in the roof to try one out though.

Any input on how well they do the job (even in a non-4WD), any gotcha's etc would be appreciated.

Don't know about reception but it would make the Prado look faster.
