    Audio cable for power?

    No not standard speaker wire!

    I've got some Supra Octopower 8 cable I forgot I had. Website I found is http://www.jenving.se/?p=car

    It seems to say it is for supplying power to amps, etc, which is what I originally bought it for many years ago... Would it be good to run from the engine bay to the rear of the Prado for an Anderson Plug? Or am I better off getting 6mm twin cable?

    Don't use 6mm wire use 6 B&S gauge cable if you want to charge your camper etc

        Octopower 8 is only 8 sq mm, a little over half of 6 B&S

          It really depends what you intend to use it for, if it is to run a few led lights etc
          it would suffice. If you want to charge a battery forget it.

              Audio cables seldom have the insulation of a power cable and its often quite a soft plastic.
              More likely to wear through with abrasion
