Yes, I believe that is the 'non speedy option'?? I got the very last 'speedy' version when i bought mine but there were a quite a number of 'non speedy' one's left. It's still a hot price for a good jack. As far I can make out, one pump on the 'speedy' handle and the plate goes straight up to the axle, whereas the non version you have to pump it up quite a number of times (don't know how much more work required) to get the plate there so if you were doing a wheel rotation there would be a lot more pumping the handle to get the plate to the axle. If your not fussed about a few mins more work and effort, want a workout(!!!) and it's for occasional use go cheaper, I'm lazy so went the easy option, which u appear not to have..u cud wait???

Have just found out the speedy is in the next Repco catalogue for $135, that starts on the 14th.

They have 4WD car ramps in the current one for $110, not sure how good a price that is.

That Oricom 5W UHF (UHF280) looks like a good price on Repco's front page catalogue. 80Ch and remote mic for $199.
The best price I have come across those Stanred ramps is $100/pr.

I have the Speedy Pro-Lift jack as well and it works well.

Yes I saw the UHF too but despite having only a 40ch in my rig at the moment it's just not on the priority list. But I agree it's a good buy, just don't know much about the brand.

I picked up one of the Repco Speedy 2t jacks today for $135 along with a pair of 3t ratchet axle stands for ~$90 after 20% off RAC discount. (They have 20% off full ticket price storewide for RACQ/RACV/NRMA etc. members till the end of the month.)

I did a rotation as soon as I got home. The stands are only just high enough, on their highest setting (450mm), to hold the front off the ground by the chassis rail (2" lift). The jack does the job and is rock solid, so I'm happy.

I've scored a set of Stanfred 4WD ramps off eBay for $80 (used but in good condition) so I think they will take care of my immediate needs. I haven't picked them up yet but they look OK from the photo.

Yes I could have got them new for $110 last week but the price at Repco has gone back up to $160 this week.

I bought an Armstrong trolley jack many years ago, it will outlast me.

I carry a 5T bottle jack I picked up from a wreckers 6 or 7 years ago for about $20 cause it needed new seals. Had seals replaced which i think cost something like $150 or so. Came off an old Hino truck. Pretty weighty at about 8kgs but lifts my prado off the ground like my little 2T trolley jack lifts the misses' barina. lol
